]]> This is a reminder that the instructors at Fairwood Martial Arts (Komokuten Dojo) are headed to Emory University in Atlanta, GA this Memorial Day Weekend to participate in testing and training at the Cuong Nhu International Annual Training Camp.

If you’re not going with us, we invite you to start planning for next year. Training camp is always scheduled over Memorial Day weekend, and is strongly encouraged for all students of every rank.

The dojo will be closed from Wednesday May 23 through Monday May 28. Normal classes will resume on Tuesday May 29.

]]> Our new 1,000 square foot Strength & Cardio Annex is still under construction, but it’s complete enough for us to move our spinning bikes in there and start teaching classes. We offer eight (yes – you read that right… EIGHT) cardio spinning classes every week, and we’ve even scheduled half of them to coincide with the Kids’ Karate classes so parents can get in a workout while their kids are in class.
